A wardrobe for deep snow
Choose fabric with weight. Khaddar is a sturdy everyday choice, karandi has a soft texture and a little more warmth, and velvet is the one for a dressy winter evening. Ask for a full lining and full sleeves, and consider straight trousers rather than a shalwar, as they sit more easily inside winter boots.
Tell us on the quote form that you want the outfit for winter, and we suggest what will work with your design. Heated homes and offices can feel stuffy after the cold outside, so a lining in soft cotton is often more comfortable than a slippery synthetic one, and a dupatta can double as an extra layer at the neck.
Short, bright summers
When summer comes, it comes quickly, and the streets of the old town fill with festivals and terraces. That is when lawn and linen make sense. A short kurta with cigarette trousers is good for walking the hills between the upper and lower town.

Can I order one outfit just for winter?
Yes. One outfit is a normal order. Say it is for winter and we suggest a fabric and lining to go with your design, confirmed in your written quote.
Is the outfit made in Canada?
No. It is cut, stitched and finished in Pakistan and couriered to you. We have no studio or tailor in Quebec or anywhere else in Canada.
