Island humidity and what to wear in it
Summer in Palma is hot and sticky rather than dry, and the sea air keeps it that way well into the autumn. Lawn and voile, cut with space through the body and finished with elbow sleeves, stay comfortable; where a light print needs a lining, cotton breathes far better than polyester. Winters are gentle, so a cambric or linen kameez with a shawl covers most evenings. If your summer means long working days on your feet, a cambric two-piece with straight trousers washes easily and holds its shape.
Shipping to the islands
Mallorca is part of Spain and the EU, so a parcel to Palma comes under the same IVA and EU customs rules as one to the mainland, which the Spain page explains, and those charges are already in your quote. The quote also sets out the delivery method to your address on the island. We do not promise a delivery date, but if you are working towards Eid or a family occasion, give us the date and we tell you whether it looks realistic.
Sending your own fabric from Mallorca
If you have an unstitched suit, start with photos, not a parcel. We check from them that the fabric suits the design and that there is enough, and agree how it should travel to Pakistan. You then book the courier from Palma, describe the contents honestly on the customs form and keep the tracking number. Palma questions
Can you send my outfit to Ibiza or Menorca as well?
Yes. We ship worldwide, so an address on any of the Balearic Islands is fine. The delivery method and its cost, along with any import charges, are set out in your written quote.
Can I try the outfit on somewhere in Palma before it is finished?
No. There is no shop, studio or tailor in Mallorca. You measure at home with the size guide, and the design and measurements are agreed in writing before anything is cut.
