Dressing for the cierzo
A winter day in Zaragoza feels far colder than the thermometer says once the cierzo picks up. A floaty dupatta is no use in it, so think about a longer kameez in khaddar or karandi with full sleeves, straight trousers rather than a full shalwar, and a dupatta heavy enough to wrap and pin, or none at all, which turns the suit into a two-piece. In summer the same wind dries the air, and a loose lawn kameez with elbow sleeves is the coolest thing you can wear.
El Pilar, campus and the working week
Every October the Fiestas del Pilar bring the Ofrenda de Flores and a week of music and processions to the city, and autumn evenings are cool enough for a linen or cambric suit with three-quarter sleeves. On weekdays, whether you study at the University of Zaragoza or work in the city, a straight kurta with cigarette trousers keeps you neat without fuss. Western pieces, such as a shirt-dress or wide trousers, can be made through custom stitching too.
How an order from Zaragoza works

If you already have a suit, read our page on Stitching Only in Spain first: you photograph the fabric, we confirm it, and only then do you book a tracked courier to Pakistan. The finished outfit is a separate shipment back to Aragón. It is made in 5 to 7 working days once your fabric has arrived and the quote is paid, and the quote already includes delivery, IVA and any EU customs duty.

Zaragoza questions
Will a dupatta survive the cierzo?
A light chiffon one will fight you on a windy day. Ask for a heavier cotton or khaddar dupatta that wraps and stays put, or order a two-piece with no dupatta at all; both are choices on the quote form.
Is there anyone in Zaragoza who can take my measurements?
No. There is no shop, studio or measuring service in Zaragoza or elsewhere in Spain. The size guide shows how to measure at home, and the numbers are agreed with you in writing before cutting.
