Workwear that stays neat

Long days in an office, a lab or on a factory floor call for clothes that stay neat and wash easily. A straight kurta in cambric with cigarette trousers, or a co-ord with a band collar and straight rather than wide-leg trousers, is smart without being fussy. If your workplace has a dress code, tell us on the quote form: full sleeves, a higher neckline or a longer kameez can all be written into the design.

Fog, frost and summer heat

Modena’s winters are cold and grey, with fog drifting across the plain, and its summers are hot and humid. That calls for two weights of fabric: khaddar or karandi with full sleeves for December to February, and lawn cut loose for June to August. A lining helps a lighter winter kameez hold its warmth, while under a sheer summer lawn a cotton lining is far cooler than polyester.

Yes. Order two outfits on one quote, each with its own fabric or colour. Your measurements are given once and used for both, and each outfit is listed separately in your written quote.

Do you have a shop or tailor in Modena?
