A proper winter wardrobe
Turin’s winters are cold, and this is where khaddar, karandi and marina earn their place. A longer kameez with full sleeves, straight or cigarette trousers that sit neatly over boots, and a lining where the weave is loose keep a suit warm without bulk under a coat. Summers are hot, so the same shapes in lawn or cotton carry you through the warm months, and a lighter dupatta replaces the winter shawl.
For the Politecnico, the office and the weekend
Turin has two large universities, the Politecnico and the University of Turin, and a kurta over straight trousers or a tailored co-ord works as well in a lecture hall as at a desk. For weekends, dinners and gatherings, a softer co-ord or a lightly embroidered kameez is a good step up.
How ordering from Turin works
You send your measurements and design ideas, receive a written quote, and choose Fabric + Stitching or Stitching Only. For Stitching Only, contact us before posting your fabric to Pakistan; the finished outfit then comes to Turin as a separate shipment. Both are made to your measurements in Pakistan. The minimum order is one suit, and we don’t offer free samples.
Fabric + Stitching
We supply the agreed fabric and make your outfit to your measurements. One parcel: the finished outfit shipped to you.

Can you add a lining to a winter suit?
Yes. Choose a lined kameez on the quote form, or ask us to advise when we see your fabric photos. Loosely woven karandi and lighter khaddar often benefit from one, and the lining is agreed in writing before cutting.
Will there be charges when the parcel arrives in Turin?
Not for you to pay on arrival. Import VAT (IVA) is due on parcels from outside the EU, the EU’s flat customs duty applies to a low-value parcel, and couriers can add a handling fee, but your written quote already includes these along with delivery, so there is nothing extra to pay when it reaches you.
When should I order a khaddar suit for a Turin winter?
Earlier than you might think, especially if your fabric has to travel to Pakistan first. Ask for a quote before the cold sets in; production time and shipping are confirmed in writing.
