Clothes for Milan’s offices and campuses
Milan dresses well for work, and a made-to-measure kurta holds its own there. A straight kurta in cambric or linen with cigarette trousers, or a matching co-ord in a plain colour, looks polished at a desk and stays comfortable through a long day of meetings. If you study at the Politecnico, Bocconi or the Statale, a shorter kurta over trousers or jeans works for lectures and the commute. Western shirts, skirts and dresses can be made to measure too.
Humid summers and foggy winters
Milan’s summers are hot and humid, which is exactly what lawn and fine cotton are for: loose through the body, three-quarter sleeves, and a lining only where a pale print is sheer. Winters on the Lombard plain are cold and damp, often with fog, so a khaddar or karandi suit with full sleeves makes more sense in the colder months. Ordering from Milan
Choose Fabric + Stitching and we supply the fabric, or Stitching Only if you already have a suit. For Stitching Only, send daylight photos first and wait for us to confirm the fabric and quantity before posting it to Pakistan by a tracked service. The finished outfit reaches Milan as a separate shipment, and your written quote sets out production time and includes delivery and any import charges such as IVA, so there is nothing extra to pay when your parcel arrives. Can you stitch a suit I bought in Milan?
Yes, subject to fabric suitability and sufficient quantity. Send photos of every piece with your quote request, and we confirm the fabric and the sending arrangements before you post anything to Pakistan.
Can I be measured in person in Milan?
No. There is no shop, studio or measuring appointment in Italy. You measure at home in centimetres using the size guide, and the design and measurements are agreed with you in writing before cutting.
Is Milan too far away for an Eid outfit?
Not if you plan early. Tell us your Eid date when you ask for a quote; production time and shipping are confirmed in writing, so you know before you commit whether the date is realistic.
