From a suit length to a finished outfit
If you have bought an unstitched suit or a few metres of fabric around the Esquilino, lay the pieces out, photograph them in daylight and contact us before posting anything. We confirm that the fabric suits the design and that there is enough of it; our guide to how much fabric a three-piece suit needs gives you an idea first. You choose the neckline, the sleeve length, and a shalwar, straight trousers or wide-leg trousers.
Once everything is agreed, the fabric goes to Pakistan by a tracked service with an accurate customs declaration, and the finished outfit comes to Rome as a separate shipment.
Cut for a Roman summer
Rome’s summers are long and hot, so most everyday outfits here are about staying cool: lawn and cotton, a looser straight kameez, side slits cut high enough to walk easily, and lining only where the fabric is sheer (summer outfit ideas). Winters are milder than in the north, so cambric and linen often see you through, with khaddar for the coldest weeks.
Eid in Rome, planned ahead
When fabric travels from Rome to Pakistan and the finished outfit travels back, an Eid order needs more notice than a tailor down the road. Ask for your quote early and tell us the date; production time and shipping are confirmed in writing. Do you have a shop or tailor in Rome?
No. There is no shop, studio or tailor in Italy. You give your measurements on the quote form, we agree the design with you in writing, and your outfit is made in Pakistan and delivered to your address in Rome.
Can you stitch fabric that is not from a Pakistani brand?
Yes, subject to fabric suitability and sufficient quantity. Unstitched sets from Indian brands, cotton or lawn bought by the metre, and fabric for Western pieces can all be considered; send photos with your quote request so we can check before you post anything.
What might I pay when the parcel reaches Rome?
Nothing extra. Import VAT (IVA) and, for low-value parcels, the EU’s flat customs duty apply to parcels from outside the EU, and couriers can add a handling fee, but your written quote already includes all of these along with delivery.
