Our [designs](/designs) are starting points, and a German climate and working life often call for a few changes. Customisation lets you take one of them and adjust the pieces, neckline, sleeves, kameez length, trouser style, lining or embroidery level. The outfit is then made to your measurements in Pakistan and delivered to your address in Germany, with every change agreed in writing before cutting.

Ready for a German winter

A lining is the single most useful change from November to March: it adds warmth and stops the wind finding its way through a cotton kameez. Elbow or three-quarter sleeves can become full length so they slide under a coat, and trousers can be cut with a little ease for a thermal layer. Adding a waistcoat as an extra piece gives you a layer over a kurta on a cool autumn day.

Office and campus adjustments

For a formal office, swap a round neck for a band collar, leave out the dupatta and lengthen the kameez to the knee or calf. If you cycle to work or to a lecture, straight trousers are easier than wide-leg ones, and a shorter kurta sits better on a saddle.

The tiered maxi dress for German evenings

Our tiered maxi dress is light, floaty chiffon in seven colours. For an evening out in a German winter, ask for a lining so it is less sheer, and a higher, closed band collar that sits neatly under a scarf. For a hot July in the Rhineland, three-quarter sleeves instead of the full balloon sleeves keep it cooler, and an ankle-length hem stays clear of a wet pavement.

Eid changes, and your fabric or ours

For Eid, the embroidery level can go up from delicate to detailed or statement, and a sharara or shalwar can replace slim trousers. Choose Fabric + Stitching, and we supply the agreed fabric, or Stitching Only, and you send a suitable suit from Germany after we have confirmed it.     The final design and measurements are agreed in writing, and the outfit is made in 5 to 7 working days once your quote is paid, then shipped to you.

Can I change more than one thing?

Yes. You can combine several changes, for example full sleeves, a lining and straight trousers, as long as they are among the options on the quote form.

Can I ask for a change that is not on the list?

Customisation covers the quote-form choices. For something different, such as a whole new cut, use Send Your Design and share a photo or sketch instead.
