Clothes that survive a trade-fair week

If you work the Messe, you know the routine: early trains, hours on your feet and halls that are warm inside while it is cold outside. A knee-length straight kurta in a crease-resistant cotton blend, with cigarette trousers and pockets for a phone and badge, handles it well. Northern weather, mild but changeable

Hanover’s climate is a mix of maritime and continental: winters are cool and grey with occasional frost, summers pleasant rather than hot. A lined cambric kameez is the workhorse for much of the year, khaddar comes out for the coldest weeks, and lawn suits a summer evening walk around the Maschsee. Students at Leibniz University often prefer a short kurti in cotton that copes with a bike ride.

Can a work kurta have pockets?

Yes. Ask for side seam pockets in your notes, and they are shown in the design we agree with you in writing before cutting.

Can I order before a fair and have it ready in time?

Tell us your date when you enquire. Making takes 5 to 7 working days from payment, but shipping time varies, so we cannot promise a delivery date and it is wise to order early.
