Kurtas that work in a finance office
With the European Central Bank and the big banks in town, Frankfurt’s offices set a more formal tone than most German cities. A kurta sits comfortably there if it is cut with care: a band collar or shallow round neck, wrist-length sleeves, a knee length and slim straight trousers. Weather in the Rhine-Main area
Frankfurt summers can turn hot, so lawn earns a place for the warmest weeks. Winters are grey and cold enough for khaddar or a lined cambric, and a mid-weight lined kameez under a coat covers most of the year in between. Your written quote sets out production time and includes delivery and any import charges, such as import VAT and the EU’s flat duty on low-value parcels, so there is nothing extra to pay when your parcel arrives; the Germany page has the details.

Can you make a kurta for work that does not look festive?
Yes. Choose a plain or subtly woven fabric, a simple neckline and minimal trim, and say it is for the office in your notes. If you are unsure, ask us to suggest a cut that suits the fabric.
Is there somewhere in Frankfurt I can be measured?
No. There is no shop, studio or measuring appointment in Germany. You measure at home in centimetres using the size guide, and the numbers are agreed with you in writing before cutting.
Can I send several suits from one trip in a single parcel?
Yes, once we have confirmed them with you. Label each suit with its agreed design and list every piece on the customs declaration.
