Choosing the level for German life
Delicate work, on the neckline or the sleeves, suits everyday and office wear: a fine lace edge on a cambric kurta reads as considered rather than festive. Detailed work, on the neckline, sleeves and hem, is the usual choice for Eid morning, a dawat or a family visit. Statement work is bolder and meant for Eid evenings and parties, including weddings you attend as a guest. We do not make outfits for brides.
Embellishment under a winter coat
From November to March in Germany, a coat covers much of what you wear outdoors. If the outfit is for a winter Eid, it can help to place the work where it shows indoors, at the neckline and the front, rather than relying on a heavy hem that will spend the evening under wool. Khaddar, marina and velvet all take embroidery well, and a border on the dupatta adds colour without weight. For summer, lace on lawn keeps things light. Exactly what is possible on your fabric and design is confirmed in your written quote.
Only as part of an outfit we stitch
Fancy work is not a separate service. We add it to an outfit we are making for you, whether we supply the fabric or stitch a suit you have sent. Show us a photo of the look you like, choose the level on the quote form, and the placement is agreed in writing with the rest of the design before cutting. On the quote form, pick delicate (neckline or sleeves), detailed (neckline, sleeves and hem), statement (bolder work for Eid and parties), or ask us to advise.

Show us the look
Add a reference photo of the embroidery, lace or border you like. What is possible on your fabric and design is confirmed in your written quote.

Agreed before cutting
The placement and amount of embellishment are agreed in writing with the rest of the design, and quoted as part of the outfit.

Made with the outfit
The work is done in Pakistan as part of stitching your outfit, which is then shipped to you. We do not embroider garments on their own.

Fancy work questions
Can you add embroidery to a dress I bought in Germany?
No. Embroidery, lace and borders are only added to an outfit we are stitching for you, not to finished garments.
Can I show you the embroidery I want?
Yes. Add a reference photo to your quote request. We tell you what we can do on your fabric and design, and it is confirmed in the written quote.
