A suit that has waited long enough
Many of us have one: the lawn pack bought for last Eid, still folded with its embroidered neckline tucked inside. Whether it came from Wilmslow Road in Manchester, from a brand’s UK website or from relatives in Pakistan, it can be made up with Stitching Only. Lay the pieces out by a window, take a clear photo of each, and send them with your design ideas.
Only once we have said the fabric will work for that design, and that there is enough of it, do you post it to Pakistan. Deeplish, Wardleworth or Littleborough, the arrangement is the same wherever in town you live.
Weather off the moors
Rochdale sits beneath the South Pennine moors, where rain arrives often and a cold wind follows it down into the valley. For most months a kameez in khaddar or cambric, with full sleeves and a cotton lining, is the sensible choice, and fine lawn can wait for a warm spell in July. You receive a written quote in pounds sterling covering the outfit, delivery to your OL postcode and any import duties and taxes, so the courier has nothing to collect from you. Is there anywhere in Rochdale to try the outfit on first?
No. We have no shop, studio or tailor in Rochdale or elsewhere in the UK. Instead, every measurement and design detail is set out in writing and agreed before cutting, so you know exactly what is being made.
