Lace, net and trims
Many unstitched suits come with lace or net for the sleeves, hem or dupatta. Keep every piece together, however small, and photograph the lace next to the main fabric in daylight. Lace and net behave differently from lawn: they may need a lining underneath and careful placing so a scalloped edge sits straight. Two universities and a working city
The University of Nottingham’s University Park campus and Nottingham Trent’s city campus bring a lot of students into Nottingham, and plenty of staff too. Nottingham questions
Do you have a shop in Nottingham?
No. There is no shop or studio in Nottingham or anywhere else in the UK. You order online, your measurements and design are agreed in writing, and the outfit is made in Pakistan and delivered to your door.
Can you use the lace that came with my suit?
Usually, yes, as long as there is enough of it for your design. Photograph the lace beside the main fabric, tell us where you would like it, and its placing is agreed in writing before cutting.
