Indian dress material and Pakistani packs
Leicester’s shops sell both. Indian dress material usually comes as a top length, often with embroidery already worked at the neck or border, plus a bottom length and a dupatta. Pakistani brand packs are sold as two-piece or three-piece sets. Either can be stitched with Stitching Only, subject to the fabric being suitable and enough for your design.
Tell us the style you have in mind: a straight kurta with churidar, a flared kameez with a wide trouser, or a short kurti to wear with jeans. Leicester questions
The embroidery on my dress material is already worked around the neck. Can you work with it?
Usually, yes. When the neck embroidery is part of the fabric, the neckline follows it, and we check from your photos how it sits with your shoulder and neck measurements before the design is agreed in writing.
Do I measure in centimetres or inches?
Either. The quote form accepts both, so use whichever your tape shows and keep to one unit. The size guide shows where each measurement is taken.
