Starting from the tiered maxi dress
Our tiered maxi dress is a floor-length chiffon dress with a split band collar, full balloon sleeves gathered at the cuff and three soft tiers, offered in seven colors. As drawn it suits a weekend brunch, a family gathering or an Eid afternoon, and a few changes adapt it to American life:
- Add a lining if you want the chiffon less sheer, for the office or a breezy evening.
- Three-quarter sleeves for a humid summer in the South.
- A slightly shorter, ankle-length hem if you will be walking city sidewalks or climbing subway stairs.
- A higher, closed band collar for a more covered neckline.
Changes that help in US climates
In the Northeast and Midwest, a lining and full sleeves turn a summer design into a three-season one, and cigarette pants tuck neatly into snow boots. In the South, unlined lawn with elbow or three-quarter sleeves keeps a design comfortable through a humid summer. Leave out the dupatta for everyday wear, or add a waistcoat for a cool evening.

Yes. Each design suggests fabrics, and we can make it in another one agreed with you, or in suitable fabric you send once we have confirmed it.
Can I change something that is not on the quote form?
The changes we offer on our designs are the ones listed on the form. If your idea goes further, Send Your Design may suit it better, and we tell you what is possible.
Does a customized design take longer to make?
Making takes 5 to 7 working days once the quote is approved and paid, or with Stitching Only, once your fabric reaches us. Shipping time is added on top.
