Fabrics for a long, damp season
Seattle winters are mild rather than bitter, but the damp gets into everything. Cambric, cotton blends and a light khaddar or marina carry you from October to April, and a cotton lining adds warmth without bulk. Darker colors and prints hide splashes better than pale lawn, and a kameez that stops at the knee keeps its hem clear of wet sidewalks. If you wear rain boots, tell us, so the pants are cut to tuck in or sit neatly over them.
Tech offices and the University of Washington
Plenty of people here work in tech, in South Lake Union and downtown or across Lake Washington in Bellevue and Redmond, and plenty more study at the University of Washington. Everyday dressing is famously casual, so a straight cotton kurta over slim cigarette pants, a matching co-ord or a simple dress cut to your measurements all fit right in. For July and August, unlined lawn with elbow sleeves is ideal for a sunny afternoon by the water.

Do you have a store in Seattle?
No. There is no store, studio or address in Seattle or anywhere else in the US. You order online, your measurements and design are agreed in writing, and the outfit is made in Pakistan and shipped to your address.
Can you ship to Bellevue, Redmond or elsewhere on the Eastside?
Yes. The finished outfit is shipped from Pakistan to your address anywhere in the Seattle area, and your written quote includes the shipping cost and any US import charges, so there is nothing extra to pay when the package arrives.
