Humid river summers, gray winters
The Ohio Valley holds on to humidity in summer, and winters tend to be gray and damp rather than bitterly cold. Lawn and cotton handle July; for January, a lined marina or khaddar kameez with full sleeves is warm without being heavy. Spring and fall are the seasons for cambric and linen, ideally in colors that work with a jacket over the top.

Pick one of our designs and change what does not suit you: a long, dressy kameez for dinners and Eid can become everyday wear at the University of Cincinnati or Xavier with a shorter length and a lighter embroidery level.
