Fancy work and embellishment in the USA
A little embellishment turns a plain kameez into something you would wear to Eid prayers, a Diwali party or a friend’s wedding reception as a guest. For US customers we add embroidery, lace and borders to the outfit we are stitching, at three levels, and agree exactly where they go before cutting. We do not embroider finished garments on their own, and we do not make outfits for a bride.

Choosing a level for the occasion
The quote form offers three levels, and each suits a different kind of American calendar date:
- Delicate, at the neckline or sleeves: right for the office, a campus event or a Friday dinner, and easy under a coat in a northern winter.
- Detailed, at the neckline, sleeves and hem: a good choice for Eid morning, a dawat at a relative’s home or a community iftar.
- Statement, bolder work for Eid and parties: for an Eid party in a banquet hall, a mehndi night or a sangeet you are attending as a guest.
Weather, weight and fabric
Embellishment adds weight. On lawn for a humid Houston or Atlanta summer, lighter work keeps an outfit comfortable; on karandi, velvet or linen for a cold-weather Eid in Chicago or Boston, a fuller hem holds its shape well. What is possible on your fabric and design is confirmed in your written quote.
Lace and borders are the lighter way to add detail. A lace trim at the cuffs or a border along the dupatta lifts a cotton suit without much extra weight; see sleeves with lace and a daman with lace for ideas.
Ordering it from the US
Choose the level on the USA quote form, add a reference photo of the work you like, and tell us the date you need the outfit for. The embellishment is quoted as part of the outfit, in USD, EUR or GBP, with delivery and any import charges included. It works with Fabric + Stitching or with a suit you send us, and pieces already in your pack, such as an embroidered neckline, are placed as part of the stitching.

On the quote form, pick delicate (neckline or sleeves), detailed (neckline, sleeves and hem), statement (bolder work for Eid and parties), or ask us to advise.

Show us the look
Add a reference photo of the embroidery, lace or border you like. What is possible on your fabric and design is confirmed in your written quote.
- 03
Agreed before cutting
The placement and amount of embellishment are agreed in writing with the rest of the design, and quoted as part of the outfit.
- 04
Made with the outfit
The work is done in Pakistan as part of stitching your outfit, which is then shipped to you. We do not embroider garments on their own.
Single pieces welcome
One outfit is enough. No minimum bundle.

Can you embroider a kurta I already own?
No. Fancy work is only added to an outfit we are stitching for you, not to finished garments, and we do not sell embroidery on its own.
Can you copy the embroidery in my photo?
Send it, and we tell you which level comes closest and what is possible on your fabric. The placement and amount are agreed in writing as part of the quote.
