Indiana summers are hot and humid, and winters bring snow, ice and cold winds across flat country. A summer set in lawn and a winter set in khaddar or karandi between them cover most of the year, and cambric fills the gaps in April and October. For the coldest months, ask for a lining and full sleeves, and allow a little extra ease if you wear a thermal layer under the kameez.
Work, Butler and weekend plans
A tidy kurta and pants are welcome in most Indianapolis offices, and a short kurta set with full sleeves does that job well. Students at Butler or the downtown campuses may prefer a relaxed co-ord. Can you stitch a suit bought online from a Pakistani brand?
Yes, if the fabric suits the design and there is enough of it. Send photos before shipping it, and once we have agreed the arrangements, you send it to Pakistan by tracked international mail.
Is there a showroom in Indianapolis?
No. There is no showroom, store or studio in Indiana or anywhere in the US. Everything is ordered online and made in Pakistan.
