Dressing for a mile-high climate
A fall morning can be cold enough for a coat and the afternoon warm enough for short sleeves, so outfits that layer work best here. Full sleeves protect your arms from the strong high-altitude sun. Winter brings cold nights and the odd snowfall, when karandi or khaddar with a lining is comfortable, while the July and August monsoon storms make quick-drying cotton useful.
Add a waistcoat, change a sleeve
Any of our designs can be adjusted. You can add a waistcoat for those cold mornings, switch to full sleeves, lengthen the kameez, change the pant style, add a lining or raise or lower the embroidery level. A short straight kurta with cigarette pants becomes a very different outfit with full sleeves and a waistcoat over it. Our page on customizing our designs in the US shows every option.

Can I add a waistcoat to a kurta set?
Yes. Adding a waistcoat or a dupatta is one of the changes you can choose, and it is agreed in writing with the rest of the design.
Where are the clothes actually made?
In Pakistan. We have no store or studio in New Mexico or anywhere else in the US, and the finished outfit is shipped to your address.
